Punta Chame is not only a perfect place for kitesurfing - but also for SURFING!
When the tide is right, there are many days with amazing side breaking waves which are good for beginners, intermediates and also advanced surfers will have a lot of fun here.
Playa Caracol is usually our choice to go surfing, which is only a 15 minute drive from Punta Chame. There is a bus that goes back and forth every 30 minutes or you can catch the ride with a local transfer. There are also other nice surf spots a bit further away but well worth the drive.
The Surf Shack offers surfboard rental, surf classes and invites for various options of foods and drinks. They usually have live music or a DJ playing on the weekends. It’s a fun place to stay the day and catch some waves!
